New Chief Legal Officer Named at P&G

Steven W. Jemison, 58, chief legal officer at Procter & Gamble (P&G), will retire effective Sept. 30, 2010, after more than 29 years of service.Until his retirement, Mr. Jemison will serve as Officer on Special Assignment, reporting to Bob McDonald, chairman of the Board, president and chief executive officer.
